It's easy enough to talk in numbers,
Take away the humanity,
Replace a person with a convenient stat,
Only X civilians?
Only?
"Easy as one, two, three..."
It's not hard to believe,
In our God-given righteousness,
We're right,
They told us so,
No need for understanding,
We don't need to understand.
Why take the time when you can just assume,
The best,
From our fearless leaders,
And we should be able to,
Assume the best,
But not today.
Oil for orphans,
Did I miss something?
Laziness is easy,
But is it so hard,
To think?
To feel?
To act??
When innocents will die,
Because we're too damn apathetic,
And concerned with our nails and cable TV'S,
Too afraid of being...unpatriotic?
Is there not something dreadfully amiss?
Tell me,
Is it so hard?
